A reality program known as Killing Show has captivated the hearts and minds of Floating City’s citizens—upper and lower class alike.Each and every game in this survival tournament is packed to the gills with blood and violence, ruckus and commotion, cheering and jeering, flowers and fireworks.

GBC News, August 21st. During the 3rd round survival game of the 199th Killing Show, the fan favorite contestant Luo Qingtian was butchered by the new dark horse contender Xia Tian. It was a quick and unexpected kill—Xia Tian slit Luo Qingtian’s throat with a short knife, finishing him off with an “impossible attack.”
Rumor has it that Luo Qingtian’s father was formerly a regional Chief Executive. As Xia Tian finished his kill, he was heard to say, “Your life is not greater than ours.” This phrase went viral on the internet, and is the top hit on all social media. A new star has been born on Killing Show!

After the mysterious disappearance of our previous Chief Producer Zhi Leng, the famous producer Georg has taken over this massive title!
Mr. Zhi Leng was last spotted in the early hours of May 17th at his penthouse condo in the Floating City Hotel. The Authority is investigating Mr. Zhi Leng’s case. If you have information regarding the incident, please contact your local police.
Meanwhile, the management of Asaijin Team Tournament has been taken over by Mr. Georg, the previous Chief Producer of Piquant Sky on GBC Channel 7. In a recent interview, Mr. Georg described his storytelling style as more dramatic and intense than his predecessor’s.

Transit Area
Transit Area is the garbage dump of Upper City, and the resource spring of Lower City. The most important part of the Transit Area is their Protein Factory, which is known as “professional, clean, and reusable.” In the factory, human and animal remains are machine-processed into pure protein.The resulting product is fodder for genetically engineered livestock in Upper City, and everyday food for people in Lower City. In addition, Lower City residents often come here to trade corpses and other goods.
The Feast
Feasts, extremely extravagant banquets, are the most popular entertainment for Uptowners. In addition to the catered food and drink and the opportunity to socialize and have fun, soft drugs are placed around the banquet to ensure that partygoers are perpetually filled with delight.—there are the occasional deaths, of course, but that’s hardly a matter of concern to any attendees. On post-Feast days, a large-scale cleanup occurs to ensure that the Upper City maintains its gleaming, tidy exterior.

About the Program
Killing Show is a subscribers-only reality show hosted by the Gilded Broadcasting Corporation, also known as GBC. It is the most successful and highest-viewed program in Floating City. The show boasts nearly 2,000 contestants, the ranks composed of conscripted criminals from Lower City as well as brave warriors from Upper City who have volunteered to participate. Hundreds of cameras monitor every corner of the event, making sure the people of Upper City don’t miss a moment of the entertainment.
Contestant Regulation
All warriors are welcome to Killing Show, no matter their age, level of experience, or origin. However, Lower City contestants with criminal backgrounds will be implanted with a punishment chip to ensure that the competition remains secure and organized.
Tournament Regulation
Killing Show hosts separate men's events and women's events. Currently, it is in its 199th session. The tournament has 3 rounds, and each round lasts for 15 days. Players draw lots and are randomly sorted into around 100 teams, then dropped into various survival arenas. At end of each round, teams can apply for substitutes to replace any teammates that died in the round previous.
Teams are randomly allocated to arenas by drawing lots. Arena themes include, but are not limited to: blunt and bladed weaponry, future technology, domestic fighting, and many more. Players must immerse themselves in the different themes and fight to survive until victory is achieved.
Players can only obtain food and resources at designated locations. Resource and facility in non-resource areas are staffed by robots. Hunting or property destruction within arenas for non-tournament-related purposes is strictly prohibited, and triple compensation will be required of any player caught in the act.
The production team maintains full control of the storyline and its subplots. In order to create an exciting entertainment experience for viewers, all contestants must cooperate with planned events, including but not limited to: unnecessary fighting, petty personal conflicts, ceasefires, and spontaneous emergency scenarios.
GBC claims sole responsibility for this event. GBC holds final right of interpretation.
At the End of the Tournament
Once the tournament is over, professional cleanup staff will put the site back in order. Their duties include, but are not limited to: cleaning up corpses, taking care of the wounded, and so on. GBC is not responsible for any deaths that occur during the tournament.
All winners will receive a substantial cash prize, along with the public’s respect and a celebrity reception in the Upper City.
Once the event is over, all event venues will be terminated immediately. A fireworks show and banquet will be held. There will be no regulation from law enforcement during the banquet.

Warrior
Responsible for fighting in melee scenarios. A popular team role.
Tactical planning
Responsible for organizing a given team’s general strategic approach to combat. Yet another popular team role.
Network security
Responsible for network maintenance and network information search, etc. This role will be unfunctional when entering a non-technical event arena.
Sniper
Responsible for providing ranged attack coverage and for detecting nearby enemies. Another popular team role.
Doctor
Responsible for healing and nursing the wounded. Considered one of the most useless roles in Killing Show, as most are able to patch themselves up without assistance.

Points
Points can be gained by killing opponents. Points can help a player advance, can be exchanged for bonuses, and can be used to prove a player’s activity level—the more active the player, the higher the activity level. If a player's activity level is low, the production team will introduce emergency events in the tournament to help them gain points—lest they become a point gained by someone else.
